Про английский язык. For me, like for many other people, love and unlimited respect for my first English teacher were the main reasons I became interested in learning the language. Eventually, as a school girl, I became the interpreter for the whole family during our tourist trips. That’s when I realized the practical value of being able to speak the language. It really is a fantastic experience, opening up a new world and learning about people and their cultures.
Все началось как у многих: через любовь и безграничное уважение к преподавательнице английского языка. А потом, в туристических поездках, еще школьницей я была переводчиком для всей семьи. Так приходит понимание практической ценности знания языка. Он действительно открывает для тебя новый мир, людей и культуры.
Про преподавание. Some people start a teaching career and then realize that it’s not their cup of tea. It was exactly the opposite for me. First, I graduated with a degree in Economics. I tried to work as an economist before I realized what I really wanted to do. Teaching is my calling. That is how my life has dramatically changed. I can’t imagine doing anything else.
When your students become fluent with no complexes and psychological difficulties, you feel proud and professionally competent: I have taught them! It's all you can wish for!
Кто-то начинает преподавательскую карьеру, а потом понимает: “Не мое”. У меня случилось ровно наоборот. Мое первое образование - экономического профиля. Я пыталась работать по специальности, пока не поняла к чему меня влечет по-настоящему. Преподавание - это мое. Ради него я кардинально изменила жизнь и не мыслю себя иначе.
Когда твои ученики свободно общаются, без комплексов и психологических сложностей, с хорошей лексикой - это и есть твое профессиональное счастье. Ты научил! Ради этого ничего не жалко.
Про себя. Nature and music help me to restore my energy and strength after a hard day’s work. The books of Dostoevsky and Bulgakov are my favourites and are always on my shelf where I can see them. I love a number of things: knitting, playing the piano, yoga, reading, travelling. And (it's a terrible secret!) sometimes I write poems…
Природа и музыка - это то, что меня восстанавливает после трудного дня, придает сил. На книжной полке у меня всегда Достоевский и Булгаков. Я люблю все и сразу: вязание, фортепиано, йогу, чтение, путешествия. И еще (это страшная тайна!) иногда я пишу стихи…

Я окончила Белгородский государственный национальный исследовательский университет, факультет Межкультурной коммуникации и международных отношений по направлению «Преподаватель иностранных языков».
